If your vehicle gets destroyed, your character must run on foot to a repair station before you can regain access to your car. If your car gets damaged, you can repair it by driving between a pair of pink fences. You can also pick up an invisibility shield. You get weapons by touching bubbles with your car. There are 4 kinds of weapons that you can use to attack opponent cars. LEGO Racer 2 allows you to attack your opponents while racing them. Talking to the characters will lead you to find bonus games and hidden treasures. The characters talk in a funny manner and dialog can’t be skipped.

You can select a prebuilt car for each world or build your own car. Be careful, the city is crowded with traffic, so you may have to dodge other.
